DROUGHT RELIEF : May-July 2000 Total Expenditure: Rs. 35 lacs
Primary relief work : Distribution of 270 tonnes of dry fodder, 27 tonnes of food grain, 33.5 tonnes of groundnut seeds, 33.5 tonnes of gur, 6.25 tonnes of gram and 3050 kits containing steel water pots, bedsheets, soaps etc. in Porbandar district among about 7000 labourers and free kitchens at Vadala and Chaslana.

CYCLONE RELIEF : 1998 - 2000 Total Expenditure : Rs. 30 lacs
Primary relief work : Distribution of food packets, tarpaulin sheets etc.
Rehabilitation work : 'Shri Ramakrishna Sanskardham'- a colony at Vadala costing Rs. 26 lacs and consisting of 20 houses, a temple, a community hall, a children park etc. were constructed. |

EARTHQUAKE RELIEF : 2001-2003 Total Expenditure: Rs. 5 crore
Primary relief work : Distribution of food packets, food grain, tarpaulin sheets etc. among 3000 families of 50 villages and construction of 400 temporary sheds.
Rehabilitation work : Construction of a colony at Bharwada (30 houses, Prayer Hall, Community Hall, Dispensary, Library, Play-ground Equipment and other infra-structural facilities) and a colony at Tumbda (50 houses, Play-ground Equipment and other infra-structural facilities); reconstruction of 36 Government Primary School buildings and 1 Government High School building; construction of 20 houses at Keshav under 'Build Your Own House Scheme' ; construction of 110 houses at Bharwada and Keshav under 'Self-Help Scheme' etc. |
